Hija de Sanchez is the taqueria-arm of Sanchez – a group of contemporary Mexican restaurants concepts run by Rosio Sanchez. We’re looking for fun people with an interest in Mexican food to join our taqueria teams. 

You will be… 

... Responsible for the Taqueria location both staffing and food quality 

... Reporting to the Operations manager regarding staff, operational issues, performance, sales figures

... Managing the team and their schedule 

... Delegating to the Assistant Manager

… Proficient in a kitchen both prep and service 

... Knowledgable in Food safety 

... Making a lot of tacos! (it's a hands on job!)

… Advising guests on menu items (and the meaning of life if you feel like it)

… Maintaining the taquerias’ appearance and helping ensure the quality of every dish served

... Leading by example, guiding the colleagues on shift through busy shift

... A natural and willing problem solver (a yes mentality!)

... Empathetic and a humble servant to your team and their needs

... A diligent and patient trainer

… Ensuring a world-class service level

… Elevating guest experiences

… Punctual and enjoy working fast in a fast paced environment

… Attending weekend staff drinks and staff parties (arguably one of the most important tasks)

… Mexican or with experience in Mexican and other Latino cuisines

... A certified professional cook with at least 5 years of experience
